I wasn't a big ARMY but my bff was. She made me watch videos with her and sent me videos and memes all the time. When I first started watching them it was just so I could connect with her and have a common thing with her. We watched BANGBANCON together and I thought they were so cool. One day I was having a really bad day, too many breakdowns and was so close to losing it completely. That was when I saw the "run BTS"- the lachimolala episode and I remember just laughing so much, forgetting all the bad stuff. I am a difficult child, no denying it. I rarely talk to my parents and siblings. Don't get along well with a lot of people, but they made me wanna be better. They made me realise that life is only as good as we want it to be. That it's okay to fall. They taught me to laugh at myself but also work hard to make myself a better person. I always had issues with my body. I was bullied, shamed and ridiculed all my life. The 'love myself' campaign was a push for me to finally learn to love myself, no matter who doesn't. It doesn't matter of others don't think I'm pretty, what matters is I'm happy. And I'll always be grateful to the guys for that. They made me feel loved and after a while it transformed into self love. 💜🥺
